Aston commonly means an eastern farmstead or estate. North Aston is the northern most of a group of three Astons, with Middle and Steeple Aston to the south of it.

To travel by road to North Aston, take the M40 and exit at Junction 10 (one hour and five minutes from London approx, 55 minutes from Birmingham approx). Take the B430 to Middleton Stoney, turn right at the traffic lights there on to the B4030. Carry straight on to Lower Heyford, and turn left at the crossroads towards the railway station, still on the B4030. When you reach the traffic lights at Hopcrofts Holt, turn right on to the A4260. Pass signposts indicating Steeple Aston, then Middle Aston on the right, and the next signpost will be for North Aston (approximately two miles from Hopcrofts Holt, and just beyond the dual carriageway section of road). Turn right down that road directly to North Aston.
