Bletchingdon
= Possibly meaning hill of a man called Blecci,
from the Old English person's name + dun. Known as Blecesdone around
1086.
To
travel to Bletchingdon by road, use the M40. At Junction 9 (one
hour north of London approx, one hour south of Birmingham approx),
turn onto the A34 towards Oxford. Exit the A34 at Islip/Bletchingdon,
and turn right on to the B4027 towards Bletchingdon.
